I tried to make a 1024x512 skin (a normal MC skin is 64x32) and so this happened: (thanks to random person with a Steve skin who just happened to be standing around) So yeah, right now it's bad xD The hair is too low, eyes are off, and lots of it hasn't been un-pixeled... yet ;) Also, the way to do this is to expand the skin in something like, say, gimp, then edit away. When you're done, save it as steve.png then go to whatever recourse pack it is you use the most and go to textures, entities, then delete the steve.png in there and move yours in! Then you get this, where you see yourself as this skin when you're steve (this happens a lot when you switch between servers using the compass) so, yeah c: There's not currently a way to make this your REAL skin... but it still looks awesome :D (well, mine doesn't, but you get the idea xD)
