Silk Touch Pickaxes cant break mob spawners?

    Mini Game: Peaceful Survival

    I've always wanted to move my spawners to a swamp biome to when I a slick touch pickaxe I was going to, I had no idea why it did not mine the spawner, I have some screenshots to prove i mined the spawner, and would just like to let you know about this bug.

    This has been so for ages, so I don't think this is a bug.

    Is there anyway I can show you evidence that I bought the spawners and get a spawner back? because I never saw anywhere that you can not break a spawner with a silk touch pickaxe.

    This is the same behavior as in vanilla Minecraft. I have added a new spawner to your inventory.
