Short Story - The End of the SoulKeeper.

Well, now that I quit being the SoulKeeper (Possibly and hopefully temporarily), I decided to make what I would come up with on the convo RP Mcc, Claire, Mappy and I would have it end like. This is how I would like it to end in the RP. (Note that in the RP, I will discuss how there is a sword that, if impaled through me, it will send me to rest for a millennium.)

*Park, 12 AM*

The leaves on the trees were rustling, the three (@Mcc457 @BossClaire @MappyTurtle) stood their ground, waiting behind the trees, hoping that the dead human body that was positioned, sitting on the park bench, would lure the SoulKeeper into the area. The cop has readied his gun, the LokiMedic Orange readied her medigun and aimed it at the Scout, the one with a Holy Mackerel. A few couple minutes later, the SoulKeeper appeared out of nowhere, with the cape covering his eyes and body. The scythe, sharper and bloodier than ever, was unsheathed by the SoulKeeper, as he descended his scythe onto the decoy's chest. With an attempt to take the soul, nothing has happened, he tried once more, then again, but nothing would happen.

The scout immediately yelled, "PLAY BALL." and started swinging his weapon around while jumping in air, attempting to BONK the SoulKeeper. The scout went through the SoulKeeper and he kicked the Scout all the way across the park. The L.M.O (LokeMedic Orange, just what I am going to call it for now on.) chased after the scout, to make sure that its beloved friend and comrade would not fall. The cop came out of the trees and successfully caught the SoulKeeper off guard, and was able to put a bullet through the head. The SoulKeeper shrugged it off and chanted something that seemed to allow him to restore himself to his invincible self.

The cop and SoulKeeper looked at each other, with flaming willpower and they both dropped all their weapons. They went on hand to hand combat, and the SoulKeeper had the upper hand. When he managed to finally put the cop down into a cornered position, the L.M.O rushed back with the severely damaged scout and took out the Crusader's Crossbow and shot the SoulKeeper through the chest, to prevent the cop from suffering the same fate as the scout.. The cop immediately got up and shot another bullet through the SoulKeeper's head and kicked him off his balance so that he would fall to the ground. The cop grabbed the cape of the SoulKeeper and tore it off. "Shadow," he said. "I am sorry to see you go, but this is for the better of the world, for the better of the universe..." "You do not have anything you can do to rid of me forever... There will always be a way that I can come back, somehow, someday, just you wait." After a moment of silence, the cop stabbed the sword into Shadow's chest and said, "Goodbye, friend."

A shining bright light was shown, and a diagram started to form around Shadow, making circles and triangles repetitively while having an ancient dialect inside the circles and triangles. Shadow's body started to get sucked into the sword, and he said, "You'll never get rid of me." as his dying words. "Well, you two, you have been a great help. If it weren't for you, we would all be dead. I will get rid of all possible charges against you, seeing that you are mercenaries, and let you off, Scott free."


~Epilogue~
It has been 40 years. Mcc was famous around the world and the two mercenaries who traveled together all the time was nowhere to be found. Even today, the people celebrate Mcc for temporarily ridding the world of one of its biggest threats to the human society. The only question that remains is, who will be the next to stop the reign of the SoulKeeper when he returns form his millennium slumber?


Just as a note, I was raging a bit too much earlier about the SoulKeeper thing. I really don't want to stop being a "SoulKeeper," but seeing that many people don't like it, I will only do it, and only continue being a SoulKeeper, if I feel like people are okay with it. When that happens, IF it happens, that will probably cause Version/Season 2 of the stories of the SoulKeeper and the Cop.

What happens is you sent me into a millennium slumber, and it will not continue unless people are okay with it, since I seem to be receiving a lot of negative comments about it.

 

Nice story also if the trend was causing you much stress,
then I agree with your solution of reducing the hate.

 

It was that I ended up seeing more people who hated me rather than liking me. This all originated when I saw people being people they liked/admired. I always liked the whole Grim Reaper things, and I sort of had that in mind because it just appealed to me, but, like most other communities, they don't like the dark person I am. Therefore, I am not doing this again, and I do not want anyone else taking this, you know who you people are, becuase if people will someday be okay with it, then I will gladly take up the title again. Also, @Mcc457, we will still continue the RP, so that if, one day, the people will be okay with my littile trend, then we have something to refer to when making the next series.

You have no idea how happy it is to see you say that. Even just earlier today somebody decided to try and take my title when they saw me "quit," temporarily.
