So last night for me was insane. I had a terrible day and it didn't get any better by the end. A youtuber named, FitMC had decided to "raid" the server by streaming. In his video he sends more than 600 stream-watchers to come and crash the network, but he didn't get very far. The worst he could do was bring down the hub for an hour or so. Here is the vid of when he came on J&H: (Go to time 56:09) To me he seems like an asshole. Others apparently enjoy his content for some reason. Anyhow, I was just sitting in the C1 spawn listening to music, when the chat went absolutely INSANE. About 50 non-ranks had flown passed me with fishing rods screaming, "FITMC RAID!" That's when I decided to look up FitMc on the internet and looked at his latest stream. He was in our spawn running around while hundreds of other people decided to swarm chat. I realized what was happening so I quickly posted some stuff on forum chat and SMG showed up trying to contact other staff. No one else had shown up but at the end they were only able to crash the hub. Everything calmed down and I was still there wide-eyed at the scene still wondering what the fuck had just happened.
