Hello Everyone!!! I needed to have a short convorsation. Well I am starting a "JerryAndHarry Cop Thing" What it is, a group of people who track down, Scammers/Griefers/Hackers. Comment if you wanna be in!!!! I am exited ^^
To me, server cops are basically Moderators and above. However, it's nice to know that players are willing to be on the server to report any rule breakers in the forums with sufficient proof or evidence. It really helps the staffs here with their job.
As @anratork59 said you cannot mini-mod so there's no point. You could just report a hacker in the report abuse area........
Mini-modding was never mentioned. What they mean is going on the server and making sure they're not breaking any rules, if they do catch them; they'll report them.
It would be a good thing to organize some secret group in case mods are offline. Not to enforce rules or something. Only some times when someone non-staff is dedicated to post in report-abuse. I'm pretty bad with english hope you guys got it. But by posting this you already killed the idea :( And it would maybe avoid double-reports for one abuser. By slightly changeing the report format you help staff a lot already. Instead: ADVERSTISER in title you could do Ads - Username of accused Makes things easier ;)
If most players see someone breaking a rule or having unacceptable behavior and no staff is online, it's really nature to just simply take about a minute out of playing to report them so I don't see the need for this? - You can't just spend your time visiting every world to track down rule breakers.. the server is about having fun and building and making buddies and stuff xD
But the point of this 'organization' is to track down rule breakers. In game, most members (who use the forums at least) simply report a rulebreaker if they come across one
Seems like a cool idea, but there really is no need for this. Your job as players isn't to find rule breakers and immediately report them You're here to play on the server and have fun, if I am not mistaken. If you find reporting to be fun, then go ahead and do it! No one is going to stop you. So, to conclude, if you happen to come across a rule breaker, then go ahead and report them, but it really isn't your responsibility to report all of the rule-breakers. :P
