Screw the laughs in the background

This is my opinion.
Don't get your "EEWWWW!!" in a twist!

So a mother goes to a shop, she says to her son: "Bye bye honey! I'm going to the shop!" And the son said "Okay, good BUY!" Hahahahahhahaha!!!! Please... kill it with fire.


So there's a TV. A TV has TV shows in it. Most of those shitty TV shows are the "comedy" ones. I don't know if I'm the first person to find this bad, but if I am. Try to tell me why it isn't. Everytime there's a joke in a comedy TVshow or whatever, there most likely gonna be a laugh in the background to pretty much tell you when to laugh. No one cares if you got the joke or not or if you found it funny, just laugh when you're supposed to.

Haahahahaahaha!!! Laugh! Why don't you laugh?! There's a laugh in the background, means you're supposed to laugh!!

Seriously though, I just hate those shitty laughs so damn much. They're literally making decisions for you, those laughs are supposed to tell you when to laugh. It disturbs my intelligence, especially when it's something that I don't find funny, and then the laughs tell me I'm supposed to laugh, I can't help but imagine how I'm throwing my TV out the window.

Hahahahahhahaha!!! Okay, the laughs, fuck off please. Let the people decide for themselves if it's funny or not. Don't make decisions for them.

I visited my friend once, since we had nothing much to do, we just watched TV and one of those "laughy" comedies shown up. My friend was like hypnotized, he was laughing when the laughs told him to. It was absolutely ridiculous. I even wondered what was so funny about it? He was like: "It's just funny..." On the same level something like Damn Daniel is funny I guess.

I know atleast one of you out there is like "If you don't like it, don't watch it!" Ehm, okay then. I won't. I just told you why I hate those shitty laughs in the background.

So this is what I think of the laughs in the background. What do you think? I agree. Half of the "jokes" I don't even get or think are funny. Maybe I'm just to serious. :p All the laughing gets on my nerves.

Also, laughing is how the Illuminati gets in your head. That's why I wear a tinfoil hat whenever I watch TV.

 

It depends on your sense of humor. The show could be really funny for one person, but could be really plain stupid for another.

 

Just reference something. One person will get it. Your jokes can suck, but if you reference something, people love you.

I know a comedy show that doesn't have that stock laughing clip, Brooklyn Nine-Nine. It's an extremely funny show, and probably the only really funny show, apart from Impractical Jokers, I've seen without the stock clips. I recommend you give it a watch.

 

Even though a lot of people find the laughs annoying, studies have shown that people tend to find shows funnier and more enjoyable when those laughs are included.

Oh really? You are you and may decide whether to laugh or not. Who taught you to do anything what anyone tells you to do? The background laughs are supposed to make the watchers laugh more often* (as another study has shown people laugh more often when other people around laugh as well) They are used to optimize the show and even though you may find them so incredibly annoying, they do have an effect of how watchers review the show.
