Good morning ladies and gentlemen. You're probably wondering why this thread, which must be a thread pretending that staff is abusing their powers, is in off topic.
Needles to say, it isn't. And please, don't say this is a drama thread. It isn't that either. It's here to make a point, because at the end of the day, someone needs to say it.
Staff abuse threads in which you pretend that a staff member is abusing their powers aren't funny. Kind of like shipping threads... Some people don't like having attention obnoxiously thrown at them. Meaning that it can be pretty inconsiderate sometimes. And you can't blame people, especially the staff involved, for not wanting to be in threads like that.
Not only that, but they're practically clickbait. Sorta like "This raccoon found a woman's purse! You won't believe what he does next!" And it turns out to be a pet show with a raccoon that knows how to fetch. Making a fake staff abuse thread is pretty much the equivalent. And while sure, it may have been fun at first, it's a joke that's lost its humor. Just like shipping threads last June.
I mean, if you want to make fake staff abuse threads for "reporting" staff then fine. By all memes. And I'm not trying to call out people who already have.
I'm just informing everyone that take into account now that if you do, there's a cripplingly low reward, if any at all.

Oh yeah, I've mentioned it briefly before, but this thread isn't a drama thread, and has no intentions of such - it's a satirical thread that brings a simple opinion to the forums.

I practically created a language out of turning any word that sounds like "meme" into "meme." It's a duty as one of my school's memelords at this point.
I also gave memeish translations of memes into various different languages, but that's another story.

Oh, trust me, they've been around for a while, since around the beginning of the new forums possibly. You don't have to worry about having starting it.
That being said, they've been obscenely common recently, and while one every once in a while is all in good fun, the current amount is too damn high ridiculous.
