[Report abuse] The one-sided story

Okay so basically this thread is out of the ordinary. Most players have been arguing, some reporting and some laughing.

Basically, I've seen a situation where two people have reported each other, as both are in the wrong.

I've seen both reports from both sides of the story with the two people whose names are not necessary for mentioning.

Both of the members have been in the wrong, remember this.

I only see the opponent of the certain person having the abusive words on the screen, in other words, they are either waiting for their own abusive chat to roll off the chat box so they can screenshot and make their opponent 100% in the wrong, where they look innocent and haven't done anything, when the person is just as bad.

To clarify for others who don't understand, it's basically making yourself seem like you did nothing wrong, and your enemy is the real bad person in the situation, when really you did something wrong as well.

It is one-sided, and the person reporting should also be punished if they do so. However, I know other people are able to screenshot the original reporter's abusive language, it is still very rude and you're not taking your punishment like a strong human should.

If someone is wrongly reported, they can always notify a staff member of the false report using the "report button" or in other ways such as ban appeals. Then the staff member can alert the owners who can check the chat logs to see what truly happened. Therefore, it's a problem easily fixed.

 

Normally it's if they can explain themselves well with the situation in ban appeals mainly, they can be unbanned/unwarned.
JH don't have the time to check logs and probably can't be bothered checking logs.
