Reason why people should not get a refund of Money Donated if they are banned

Well, the reason why people should not get a refund of Money Donated if they are banned is because when you donate, you donate for the server. This does not need a refund. Second of all, you will not get a refund because you made yourself loose it, for example:
(This is just one reason there are other reasons. Maybe some that I don't know like what YOMC just posted down bellow.)
You buy a new Television, you use it for 1 month, then later you start
being careless with it. You start doing bad stuff with it like playing a football near it
or doing stuff that can make it get broken or taken away. Then finally,
it breaks, and you can not go back to the saller and say 'GIMME MY MONEY BACK!!'

Similarly you buy a rank/donate, you loose the money you spent if you don't take care of it properly. You can't ask for a refund.

That's not actually the reason.
The real reason is that when you refund, PaymentWall makes Jerry and Harry have to pay an extra fee to refund.
Therefore, it's stealing from the owners and they have less money than when they started.
That's the real reason,

 

I agree with you Silent they should NOT get a refund because it is their fault for getting banned. It is not Harry and Jerry's obligation to refund them.

 

I made a similar thread a couple of months back (found here) and according to DWG, refunding is already not allowed.

 

How much does it cost to run a large Minecraft server? I'm not familiar with the fact it would cost anything but a few cents per month.

Yea, I did not know about your thread, but know that it is not allowed to refund, but people were asking me why that is why I just made this thread.

 

I feel bad because J&H host a big minecraft server, make new games, but when they are not active people complain and it's really sad. They say things like "This server sucks" even when the owner is on and it's horrible because they do not realize how much of they're work goes into the server. To pay 10k a year they would probably need a job, they still need to go to school and there are other things to do besides that. If you ask for a refund it is stealing and J&H need to work harder, so think before you refund. (Sorry for getting a bit of topic)

 

Guys, what Silent is trying to say is how anyone permabanned and donated *cough*zork*cough* should not be given the money they donated. After all it's called Donating.

1000 dollars!? Wow. I was running a small server on Minetest the other day with at least 12 other people for free. A server I had moderator at was running of a laptop.

 

they shouldn't give your money back if you got banned forever because you're the one that broke the rules and you deserve it.
Also, as ItsJerry said "We don't permanently ban players anymore (unless we have very specific reasons)."

 

It's just that people want refunds If they get tempbanned, thinking that now everyone would hate them.
It's just 1 day, or 1 week. It's not a permanent ban, It's just a punishment for rulebreaking.

That donating Is useless?
Refunding from donations Is a complete crime scene, You might not care if you get banned, but it's also criminality.
And If you think it doesn't matter, it should, What can stop the police from hiding under your bed? tracking you using your PayPal Personal Information?
I'm not sure If they can do that, but hopefully, they can.
