Yes, I'm back.

I got demoted for my blatant arrogant behavior on the forums, and more.

There, for all the people who love to spread rumors, there is something truthful for you to spread.

Anyways ignore that, I came back to understand some things.

Who the hell, started this rumor that I was banned? Simply being inactive, lost with pain and depression, even skipped school for two days, has nothing to do with ban. Rumors spread so fast.

More importantly, you even attempted to hide the reason, by saying it was 'Private'.

Of course I know. Because it was me on his account. Thats one thing to clarify.

I wanted to avoid the 'You were demoted' messages. How dumb of me?

 

I'm really that much of a piece of sh!t, aren't I?

I feel deeply insulted by the fact when people said I was banned. If I was to be banned, I would at least leave a farewell message, or at least a thankslist. Seriously, banning is a serious matter. /ban for spamming seems like a simple reason, but two long days can be a major impact on a person. When we ban that player, we hope they'll change their notorious behavior, and become 'good' again. Directly saying, /ban is to correct the wrong things of a person, and make them reflect upon themselves.

I locked myself up, pretty much banned myself from accessing the J&H server during the next five days, after being chased with 'you got demoted' messages.

I tried to make it not a big deal.

But the rank, was too much of a burden.

People thought that 'Moderator' was super hard to achieve, and would be really curious on why you were demoted. And start spreading rumors, talk about you behind your back, and leads to such a big reaction right now

Dao pretty much hid his anger against me, and told me to have 'no hard feelings' about the demotion. All I felt like though, was basically

I felt like a unworthy scumbag, totally non-credited for anything I do, never got any true friends that stuck with me for three long months.

 

There was one thing I pretty much stuck to explaining to other players, is staff are normal players. I get unneeded respect at times, and I notice it. Not that I want it, because it gets annoying at times. And that amount of jealousy between other players, gossip around me, deeply corrodes my feelings.

fek that. I clearly know the difference between the players who run up to me to be my friend, and the ones who come up to me because I was a moderator.

Then checking my forum profile, I saw these messages.

This gives no support at all. All I got from it is, I'm a total sh!tbag.

Words can be pretty harmful at times.

Now the forums.

I actually have nothing to say. The forums practically gave me nothing.

Yea, you may find close bonds between players in the Chatbox, most players seem pretty happy at the state they are in now.

I never fitted in.

And never will be.

I remember, before I got mod, I didn't even get a Hi when greeting everyone in the chatbox.

I remember, when I reported players, I actually got told off for making more than one thread. To be precise, DWG told me off for making the heading 'Spammers' for 5 of my report threads, and I got a negative rep from LeFinn for that.

That ruined my first impression.

From that point onwards, I strictly accounted on what I ever did, and what I should do.

The community had changed drastically though, and the major critics, like Pieman and Spaghetti were inactive, or left for another game. People often left because of school. That made it feel better.

 

Now lets face the facts.

I feel like a rep whore. Not that I post stupid things like



(For anyone that does not know, I mean the +1 me back messages)

I personally never posted one of those.

That resulted in my pathetically low amount of reputation.

I found out that I actually cared about reputation, and started writing actual guides on the rules, and how tos, on the server.

That rose my reputation by a bit.

But that was it, and I was pretty much stuck at the number 44. Compare it to the other mods, that number sucked.

How dumb of me to care about a mere number, but the word 'Reputation' just meant it.

It was hard, to tell people that 'Reputation' was just a mere number, when I knew it wasn't.

I survived five months. Still don't know how.

 

At that point, I started playing spleef. There, I actually met people who'd communicate, and have fun with me.

I play as a normal player, and nobody really cared about my mod rank, wasn't scared that I would ban them for not listening to me, etc

And that was definitely fun. Making more friends with normal players, was the key to success.

Until.

Until people,

Donators came along.

By donators, I don't mean by the ones who've played a long time and donated, I mean the ones who do not regularly play spleef, and suddenly appeared.

All they do, was to whine about how sprint sucks, glitches happen, and etc.

They'd think that they are god, super good at spleef, and keep saying things like 'I used to be good at this', or 'haha you were just lucky'

And apparently they still lost to me, paying no attention to their ranting.

But that.

That.

That chat spam, ruins it.

 

How? donators keep whining about this and that, without the chat limit. Players now rarely start conversations due to it. They feel scared, and think that donators are their superior.

Want a list of names? PM me, and you'd vomit.

I found several pictures of spammers, sitting there in one folder. Not several, actually there are more than fifty which I took between 10 days.

Ok, I have a rather strict nature, and sometimes would make me an asshole. That I apologize for.

That being said, I have an entirely different persona between real life and the internet. I would eventually split into a person with double personality. Unwilling to, but thats what going to happen.

At least, in real life I still get some respect hanging around with friends, but in minecraft, its not.
This is the total opposite referencing other people's cases. 'Minecraft gives me more friends over the internet, and I never get bored!'

Funny how I put more effort, into living in the internet than real life. My friends are actually devastated, if not shocked by the amounts of time I actually surf the internet.

 

I never told a family member about my staff rank, so they did not need to know the reason of why I was demoted. The reason that I was depressed for two long days though, was unknown to them, and I would not want to explain this story all over again.

Here is a more pissing one.

So I got on another server, and applied for a Gym Leader rank for pixelmon, knowing what is expected from it.

I regret applying for Rock Gym, as it was the first gym in the series. The series was based on the Kanto gyms, wit h the ground type gym changed to fighting due to lack of ground types, I assume.

We were told to be able to take breaks from our job, reasonably every one hour.

I did my job pretty well, didn't get too many complaints compared to the other gym leaders.

And then, one day.

So after one hour, me, and my friend were exhausted from battling those challengers, and requested a break.

The administrator said:

No.

We were shocked, as this was not the case that happened before. Even the Head of Gyms told us to take constant breaks, when we needed.

We had two gym leaders, but still unable to clear a line. 1+1 = 2 hours, and we deserved a rest.Not to mention, I was pretty much sick that day.

He made us clear the line. Which was impossible, with the amount of explaining we had to do, for being the first gym in the series, taking 10 minutes a battle at some cases.

Clearing the gym line was impossible, because it was the first gym, and alot of people come to it.

I hung on to my rank, as the administrator never got enough reason to report me, luckily.

 

When did this happen? From the second day I got demoted here. I rarely talked, watched my mouth all the time, since it wanted to blurt out various insults.

I've managed to keep them to myself for 9 months, but I really can't stand it.

So you've got the sad end, of getting a staff rank on a server. Good luck with your future staff applications.

I've been telling everyone "If Flare wants to tell us why he was demoted, then he will make the first move. Otherwise, its none of our business and we should let it go."

People these days just don't seem to take good advise and listen to it -_-

 

Flare, I was not angry with you, that's why I said what I did to clarify. It wasn't hidden, I just wasn't angry. We had to do something because you're behavior was not changing even though you'd been warned.

That said, it's not like we're holding some kind of grudge. Mistakes were made. Rank was removed as a result. That's all.

As for what those mistakes are, I'm not going to say in public what they were unless you want them to know. If they don't like it, too bad. That's his information, and it's not yours to know. Don't like it? Too bad.

That said. Mistakes were made, sure. But you also did some good in your time as mod as well. No, that didn't go unnoticed. We don't go around giving out special commendations for good work. But yes, we do notice it. Ask dwg how many reports he's done without a single thank you. You might be shocked.

Now, with that out of the way.


to the rest of you. Back off. If dwd_flare tells you to stfu about his demotion, and you keep harassing him about it, he will report you for harassment. Trust me. That'll be an instant ban if he can prove it.

Flare, please report it to me via PM if they keep harassing you about the demotion. There's no need to hide from the server. Just inform me if they harass you and I'll take care of it. If any other mods are on, go ahead and contact them about it and ask them to do something; let them know I've declared that to be a form of harassment that warants action.

So yes, this is a public declaration that harassing a former mod about their demotion is a form of harassment. Asking once is ok, but if they are not inclined to talk about it, back off.
The same goes for new mods who just got promoted.

EDIT: As a note, you are not trash. Far from it. You have excellent potential, and you have far more intelligence and skills than is normal for your age. Unfortunately, you are not some sort of god. You are still limited by your age to some extent, and in my opinion, it's not so much that you are not mod material period, but more, you weren't ready for it yet. That makes it more my fault as I misjudged you're abilities and stuck you with too much power and responsibility, too early.

 

I don't think mod is something to be all great about, and I treated mods like normal players I liked unless I had to ask for special help. and that's why im not appling for staff.

I almost always used to say hi to you whenever you were on sky block for me, and youre the reason im slightly rich in skyblock. for selling you that monster spawner (when they were expensive) which you used to farm blaze rods. not to mention your the one who made by biggest sale in a virtual video game.

I would continue to treat you normally, like a normal player since I think we both don't fit in and never mention anything about mod ranks.

 

Exactly, staff are normal players, just with an extra job.

Crap, don't know where to start.

I pretty much created this thread to release the somewhat of anger I've got. And read it several times before posting it, so it took more than two hours for writing the original post, then to be copied and pasted into different posts. However, it was worth it.

I feel way better than before now, since how I feel is actually public, and not suppressed.

Anyways, first up, it was not really your fault, as I was pretty much 'prepared' in my own way for it. I probably had known myself that being a mod would be a challenge, but would never expect to get bugged with actual trash, and never noticed something else.

I'm a bit more aware, about how my friend's are treated after my demotion.

 

Not like someone is dragging a sword and chasing me around town to kill them, its just that people are actually rude to them.

Hard to explain, but I know that falls under harassment anyways. Sucks that my friends, or basically even me on xCreepeRL's account would experience it.
