Other Games Pokemon Delta Emerald?

With Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire being released, there have been rumors floating around even before the games released about an Emerald remake being made also. The speculation began around May when Pokemon trademarked the name, so people automatically assumed that there was going to be an Emerald remake along with the other two. However, even after the other two titles have been released there is still not even a release date on when DE would release. My question to you is do you think there will be an Emerald remake coming out in the future? Personally, I didn't get OR or AS since I too thought DE would come out, but so far that hasn't happened. Anyways, I just thought I'd bring this up in case no one knew about it.

 

The delta episode technically was Pokemon Delta Emerald, unless they add faraway island (Where you get Mew) it most likely will be the same

 

Actually, my friend and I did some research on this. We have concluded (Still a hypothesis, but what we have is most likely the case) that there will not be a remake of Emerald. There are many reasons why, but the main one is because it just doesn't make sense. Emerald may have been very popular back then, but let's face the facts. There is no difference besides being able to catch all the Pokemon. Plus, like @Cheezipoofs said, the Delta episode pretty much represented Emerald due to being able to catch Rayquaza. Although I would like to see it happen, I highly doubt they would.

 

I felt like they would probably do this since they done things like this in the past (Yellow for Red & Blue, Emerald for the original Ruby & Sapphire, Platinum for Diamond & Pearl). If the game did come out I feel like it might tie in with the Delta episode, but that's just some speculation on more speculation. Then there's still the question on them trademarking the name Delta Emerald.

 

I agree that the Delta episode was probably in there for Delta Emerald, and the trademarking of Delta Emerald has something to do with the possibility of the remake coming out, BUT remember Pokemon Gray and Pokemon WaterBlue?

 

I don't think this is a particularly good way of thinking, but, since we didn't get Pokémon Z which was a big rumour at the time, I doubt there there will be a Delta Emerald. Also, in OR/AS you can catch Rayquaza,

Yeah, there won't probably be Delta Emerald since they trademark other versions that they won't make, so that no one can trademark their names.
