Minecraft OptiFine Help

Hey there!

I recently got a new PC and I'm having some issues installing OptiFine.

I've watched many tutorials and I have downloaded it countless times before and I'm just not quite sure what the problem could be.

As many of you know, when opening OptiFine after downloading it, it should open as a Java file and it should have an install button like so,



Now when I go to open it, it shows up like this,

(except .jar rather than .avi)

If anyone knows what to do about this please let me know, thanks.

 

Install java, then try clicking install on optifine. I had the exact same problem.
