Yes this is 2 posts because it is too long for just one post. It will not fit in one.
    Well, hi again everybody.
Oh, what's this? Well, it's my long bio. So if you don't feel like reading this, then move along. By no means should you feel required to read this thread.
(If I see any "Didn't Read" GIFs on this page I will explode)
Anyway, why am I doing this today? What can possibly be so special, so important, that I am making this on the forums?
Maybe my anniversary of being here for one year, perhaps.
I know what you will all be wanting from a swag person like me so I just wanted to say...
    Hahahaha no, silly rabbit
Anyway, I do feel the need to celebrate even so. This is the longest I've ever stuck with an online community and it's honestly turned me into a better person.
Anyway, let's begin. How did I get here? And what can I tell you about the real things on the forums?
Well, I started as a member who was told to come here by MyFreakingSelf, an old mod. I was into Skyblock at the time, but wanted to go to survival. So she told me that I could apply to Weed (Hai's faction) on these forums.
And so I did. Yay for fun stories. At the same time, actually, VGG was trying to get into EnderTacos.
I never got accepted. The thing is, then 1.5 happened. My minecraft (at the time) ran on TechnicLauncher. The normal launcher would not load. And this launcher was not updating. For two weeks I had no access to the server.
Then I got back on after two weeks. In fact, I didn't go on the forums for two weeks either. I figured that it was a ton of people I didn't know. Screw them, I would stick to the Skyblock community.
Well, I would have if Skyblock wasn't all reset.
Picture this, guys. You've met lots of new people on the forums. Suddenly one day it dies. All of the posts, threads, memories, all gone. You will never see the community again.
Well, that's how I felt. The SB community used to be about 20 people. We traded all the time and I was never scammed. It was great. And I had the best island there. (There were no shops by the way, it was more legit than that)
All gone. Reset. So I was considerably pissed off.
So I ranted on the forums a bit. I said that a server that resets a minigame without consent is a bad one, and that I would leave.
The forums, where no one knew me, was a bad place to do that.
I was shot down by people who instantly saw me as a rager, which I guess I kind of was. I said screw it. I would leave the forums, where no one cared about me.
    And then I realized. Hmmmm...
I refused to leave being thought of as a flamer. It was unacceptable to me. I had to improve the way people looked at me first, then I could leave.
So I posted more. I became more active, and bit by bit people saw me as a better person.
    Slow going though.
When survival revamped, I successfully got into Requiem, Hai's new faction. People appreciated me more and more as I became a fun person on the server. I had about 450 posts in about a month after the incident. I was making statues and creations. It was fun for me. I felt accepted.
July 3, I reached 1000 posts. Not just any posts, too, longer ones (thanks to 30 char somewhat XD). Posts had to be longer at the time. But I felt that something was missing...
I could feel negative energy coming from some people. Like, not the psychic aura shit. Say, people who actually disliked me. So I said outright on the forums in July that I felt as if I was disliked by people. I could kind of tell who it was, too. I wanted everyone to like me. Otherwise, I was not complete in the forum community.
So I made a thread stating all the things that I felt like I was to some people. Then I told everyone to send a private message of what they really thought of me. I said to be completely honest, I wouldn't hold them accountable for it.
Everyone who private messaged me told me good things, that I was a great person and all.
No one who I knew disliked me sent me a message. They all kept it to themselves. I gave up and said that I would be improving myself for a week or two.
Until my leave, I had fun. I wrote Eternal Darkness, the first server story without an obligatory Herobrine plot. I hung out with everyone. Everything was awesome. I felt a little more complete.
Then an incident occurred on the server. Yes, believe it or not this was an accident.
While disguised as a youtuber I told people that I would report them on the forums, yet my username was the name I had disguised as for some reason.
If you didn't get that, that's okay. To sum it up, I accidentally made people think that a famous youtuber was on the forums. And I was saying it to all the youtuber's fanboys, at that.
(Hellotoyou I actually saw you there saying to move for screenshots or something)
Anyway, I thought the peace and happiness of the old forums was over and that it was my fault. I considered myself responsible. I thought that I had ruined the forums. In a way, I still think that it caused the spambot invasion, which occurred a day after the said incident.
So I came back after a while and returned to the fun forums community. But something was off. Everyone was leaving now. Left and right. I watched in horror as the community crumbled.
Flame wars appeared. A troll or two. Suddenly, the community was divided against itself.
Then Potato appeared. He was like a godsend at first, responding to our problems. He said that he understood that the server was losing its fun. I told him that it wasn't the problem. The forums was truly cracking. So he said he would tell Jerry and Harry.
The next day, the forums was dark.
It came back up as this: completely reset, new forum in general, everything new. I didn't know what this meant. Would this save the community?
The staff applications drew more members to the forums. But suddenly, post farming began. Many community members who joined were not good fits for the forums.
The new forums hurt the community originally. It's better now. But at the time, it hurt what had once been there. It was Skyblock all over again for me. The good times on the old forums were gone, never to be seen again.
I panicked. I left. Not like many people cared when I did. No one knew me anymore, or so it seemed. Or no one cared.
But the forums was something I could not leave behind. I needed to fix it. It would only be with fixing the forums that the community could be improved. I saw the major problem in post farming (which I will go more in depth about later).
No one was pointing out the troubles of post farming, so I took the liberty of doing so. I carefully planned Cannoli out perfectly. I made it so that no one would accuse it of being me. Then I sent the idea into action.
Cannoli worked. It helped the forums to realize the problems with post farming. It snapped everyone into reality. It did what I needed to happen for the forums to become a better place - set up the playing field.
I worked with the mods to help regulate post farming threads. I told others of the real problem on the forums, one that should be fixed.
And so, after many efforts, public post count was removed. And since then not much of note has happened. This bio is more empty than some of my previous ones, but oh well.
    Viewpoints (kinda)
I know what you are thinking... How can this member help us to understand more about the forums? Simple.
In what I have done on the old forums, I have learned a lot about how the community works.
Firstly, I want to address post count. People say post count means nothing.
And that is true... Unless you give it power. If you don't give posts power then it means nothing. However, this forum loves to give people power over various things.
On this forums post count turned into a sign of respect. This was bad, as someone could easily gain respect just by making many posts.
"I am respected on the forums because I am active and post a lot."
Teddie said that a while ago, and he was telling the truth. People did respect him and part of it was his high post count. On the end of the old forums, I had gained influence as well. And part of it was my viewpoints and opinions, sure. But people told me this all the time...
"Hey you are almost at 2000 posts"
"You're the top poster now good job"
"Wow your post count went up by like 100"
Guess what people... If you don't give posts power then they can't abuse it. Hence the reason that I am glad post count is gone.

Now, next part. Why do people like the forums so much? What is so alluring about it to us?
Well, it's the closest we, as children (or young adults whichever), can come to achieving government.
Think of it like a country. Jerry and Harry would be the ruling monarchs. See the three co-owners as their Cabinet of sorts.
The mods are the personal squad, the Proletarian Guard, so to speak. They enforce the rules. People come to them for problems.
Helpers are the monarchs' representatives. They speak and help the country when necessary, going directly to the people.
And then you have the civilians, the members. We act as a group. We depend on the server and give it money for its survival, like taxes (but optional). We become angered sometimes and get mad at the owners, and sometimes we become pleased, and praise their decisions.
Guys, this mirrors a government perfectly. It is the closest we can come to a country. That is what makes this forum addicting: because of it's politically based lure. That's what keeps people here.
Alright, I'm starting to draw a blank, so I have one last thing to tell everyone. Everyone is always so eager to apply for staff, always so hopeful to get accepted. Guess what people, it's not a leisure. Staff is work, and if you apply for it you had best be ready to accept the burden that comes with it.
Okay I think that's it for me now. But I have one more thing...

    Messages and Thank Yous

I tried to include as many people in these. If you aren't in there, don't be offended. I just can only remember to include so many people XD

Ryfi: I'm pretty sure you were my first Skype contact, and you were always fun to team with. Hey, if survival ever returns, you know the plan :3

Albino: I wasn't sure what to think of you when I first saw you on the forums, but like everyone else, I thought you were a guy.
    Well played, Albino, well played.
Anyway, you're really nice and your drawings are the pinnacle of epicness.

Pastel: You're an awesome person and you were a great builder in the faction. I couldn't have made a carrot farm that great XD. Keep spleefing, I suppose, and who knows? Maybe I'll see you when survival comes back too.
    Oh yeah. KNAI.

cdude: You were always a pleasant person on the old forums. Whenever I thought of paintball, you were the first person who came to mind. Anyway, yeah paintball swag

DWG: Ah, how could I forget you?
"Stop WHINING. We DONT CARE about your deleted island. This is supposed to be for posting your Skyblock EXPERIENCE, not to complain about your lost island." -#DWG2013
In any case, that was a comment that kinda helped me to snap out of it XD
I feel as if you disliked me for a long time on the old forums (which I can understand why, I was somewhat annoying at the time). In any case, I'm glad that we are friends now and that I can always trust you to help me with my problems on the forums. Stay taco, dude.

Dmuds: I remember that you were like the first person to agree to help me build the Skydome. Admittedly, you didn't get much of a chance to go on, but I still appreciate the help and the efforts you have made for the server.

LeFinn: Come to think of it, one year ago you weren't Finn. You were Feaxh, after all. Man, it's been a while...
Anyway, I became really inspired to stay on the forums after something you said to me:
    LeFinn (42) - Last updated 05-07-2013, 09:13 AM
Positive (+1): Well, you thought you was the most hated? Then i will give you this rep to a new chance. Dont leave it in vain, because i don't give reps that easy.

    May 7. 10 months ago.
You were right. That showed me a new chance. I had a chance to fix myself. I had a chance to redeem myself. I could do it, I told myself. If someone believes that I can, then I truly can.
Look at where I am now.
Finn, you're a great person, and you can be hilarious when you want to. You're the prime example of how the hated can become the appreciated, a forums role model in your own way.
Thank you for helping me and always being able to make me smile.

Boozington: Did I ever mention that I didn't like you at first? In fact, like everyone in Requiem thought that it was stupidly unfair that your faction claimed right next to is XD
Eventually I was able to oversee that and realize that you're a great person. You're funny and you are always willing to help me with skins.
Oh yeah, and thanks to you I start half my sentences with "Like a SAM BODE AY" thanks to your excellent ownage impersonations.

Imapwnin: You helped a ton with the Skydome. Plus, you were always nice to me. I'm sorry I never made you that Weed application, but I'm glad that we still had fun on old survival
Well, it was half having fun, half getting chased by Hai XD

Joey: Ahahaha, I used to argue with you so much XD
Now that we are past that, thanks for the help with the Tesla speech (it's almost done). For that matter, thanks for the help with Rogue as well.

Hubble: Ummm, you helped with the skydome which was swag and all. But I will never forget...
    CHOCOLOCO4DAYS
God, I still have no clue what that is XD

Kick: First time I saw you, I was trying to outbid you on the forums for a piece of land with a volcano on survival. Afterwards, you gave me a +1, then removed it like a day later XD
    (I remember these things)
Anyway, you've always been very nice. Make sure to stay that way.
(And dude stop kicking my ass it hurts)

Magical: Oh yay, this one. Well then...
You were extremely nice to me even before you were mod. I remember at one point you, Spicy, and myself were talking on the survival server for like an hour.
(It was like late for me too like 11 PM)
Anyway, yeah, you were always nice to me and you were also one of the first to appreciate me. Which attributed to me having a crush on you from, like, May to this January XD
    [IMG]
The above picture states it all. That actually wasn't why I changed my profile picture to Kirito (I only changed it because I am freakily similar to Kirito in multiple ways). But yeah, I did have a crush on you for a while. In any case, it ended in January, but I may as well get that off my chest.
In any case, thanks for being one of the first to appreciate me.

NES: Hmmm... We talk often enough on the server. And I honestly enjoy talking to you as well (I still don't know half the stuff you do about computers and plugins and such XD). In any case, you deserve a shoutout here as well.
Oh yeah, I remember once I asked you if you've ever played NES and you said yeah.
    Swag.

Rockor: When I first saw you I was like "who the hell is this guy"
Now I've learned that you are an amazing forumer. You say that you aren't good with words, but some of your posts have really made me think.
    Anyway, yep. Thanks.

Perc: You were my clan owner in clash of clans a long while back. That game wasn't all that bad, I remember. In any case, you are a great member (relatively mature if you ask me) and you still know how to have a good time.

Slam: We never got to record together, meh. Anyway, I still see you on Wynncraft sometimes. So yeah. Swag.

Spence: Another one of the few people who initially gave me a chance, you were a fun member in the faction. Plus, you showed me around Wynncraft.
    (Damn that mushroom man XD)
You were always helpful in Requiem, and I got to be in the intro of your video.
(I was disguised as Herobrine so no one knew but whatever)
Anyway, you were epic then, and you are still epic now.
(Oh yeah and you rule and stuff obligatory username pun blah blah blah)

WishFish: Sg teaming with you was always fun. You're great to be around, shame I never see you on these forums...

Ganja: You were right, Soul Eater rocks.

Leandro: On the old forums I always wondered who the heck you were. People mentioned you, I saw a few of your posts from a while ago (like the J+H pub thing, you should revive that), but other than that that was it. Then I saw you on the server, and we were building the Skydome together and I realized that you're a really fun guy.
Yay for building dicks next to Finn, we did that for a while XD

VGG: It's a shame I don't see you anymore, you were one of the few people who liked Zelda too.
Anyway, yeah. Although I rarely ever saw you on the server, I've seen you often on the forums. And honestly, you were a great friend there.
You really should come back... otherwise I can't send you Ben pictures anymore
EDIT I THINK YOU'RE BACK NOW SO LIKE NEVER MIND IDK KANSOSLNSHD

Lila: I honestly don't trust most new forumers. I have a certain attachment to the old forums and therefore typically see old forumers over new forumers.
Not trusting you was my mistake. You are able to understand much more than I expected, plus your morals about the forums are good in general as well.
And who knows? Maybe I'll see you in the city one day XD

Rigby: Adrien Brody Adrien Brody Adrien Brody Adrien Brody AAAAADRIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEN. Brody.

Homie: wtf was your old profile picture a yak or something
You've always been considerate to me and always help out with problems. So thanks :)
Yay for helping out with problems. and being yakkity yaks

WhatTheCiaoHai: Honestly, my time in your faction was the most fun I've had in a while. You were always there to help us, whether it was claiming land, or... Trolling us I guess.
    (Go figure)
Anyway, you're a fun person and you're like a mirror image of myself, personality-wise. In all honesty.
    Thanks for everything.

PwnagePotato: I knew the awkward thing wasn't true. I have immense respect for you for actually going on the old forums and listening to our please directly. In doing so, you gave us hope that maybe the owners aren't necessarily impossible to contact.

Jerry and Harry: Hmmmm... You got me back into Minecraft again with your videos. Your server and forums has made this year a year to remember. Overall...
    Thank you.

Misfit: Dear god, I remember when I thought you hated me completely and utterly XD
Now that that's in the past, thanks for being my friend. Thanks for being understanding of what I feel and how I act on the forums. Thanks for being a fun person to talk to. Thanks for always holding trust in me.
Thanks for everything. I couldn't have asked for a better friend.

    Athens: "Hey Peter"-#athensswag2013
Ah, I remember when you asked me for rep, and when I finally realized that you're a nice person in July.
And then I actually started to talk to you and realized that there is so much to you than there appears to be. I can't say it all here... There's too much stuff to remember.
    Thank you truly and utterly.

Positive (+1): Actually becoming active, has gotten over the whole skyblock thing, and is pretty nice now. +1
What a positive outlook compared to the old, "stop bitching about it" thing XD
You were the first to give me a chance. I can tell you nearly anything, and I trust you with almost anything. You're very similar to me, and I appreciate and am thankful for having you as a friend. I'm glad that I got to meet who may very well be my best friend on the forums.

Anyway that's about it. Yay for listing things and thanks (if you did) for reading this wonderful text wall.
    Peace peeps.

This is amazing because you mentioned me it gives a lot of new insight to the forums and stuff. I'm thinking of making a forum sesquianniversary (1.5 years) in July, but who knows, I'll probably either forget about it or become too lazy for it.

Anyway, happy 1-year anniversary of joining this wonderful place.

For some strange reason my computer is not letting me hit reply so it looks like I will have to do the little @ thing.
@Theminer30 - Ahahaha, I like walls of text, personally. They can be insightful sometimes, although I don't mind making pictures and creations and stuff commemorating things as well
(though I don't do that anymore)

@Rigby - You can still make an anniversary now... Maybe
    (I don't know)
For example Yomc-Joins-The-Forums-Day was actually on March 7 and today is the 11th
    (711 yay)

@Mcc - There were actually a few times when I thought it would not hold up actually, it is a good government sometimes but not necessarily the smoothest.
In any case, yeah, that was an insight I realized like a few months back, and I had a need to say it XD

Anyway, I have no idea. Usually when in an online community I don't stick with it for over 6 months.
It honestly depends on how the server/forums progresses, I suppose.

It has been fun being your friend, through all the failed Buk Lau impressions, and close claims. Here's to another year, or another 3/4 of a year because you joined earlier I believe.

And the reason that I claimed right there because Hai kicked me out of Requiem (literally 10 minutes after I joined) but I really liked the location infront of it, so I built there.

@Finn- Then bring your English back to life XD

@Booze- Well, yeah, 3/4 of a year for the server and such.
And yeah, I believe you mentioned that :P
But it was funny because we all thought you were trying to encroach on our land (I agree the area right near the water was a good location though)
    And yeah, Buk Lau=Swag

@Sera- YOU JOINED THE SAME DATE AS ME TOO WOW IMPOSSIBLE COOL
Yeah, I loved how Excalibur needed to yell "Fools!" every five seconds so I just HAD to make a meme on it :P

If it was born dead then it was never alive.
If it was never alive then it was never born.
And if it was never born then it could have never been existent, which means that it is not dead.
And if it is not dead then it is alive.
    Paradox. There XD
