As of today, I have been on these forums for one year. Just a story on why I joined these forums and how I came to the forums. So, somewhere in February or March of 2013, I first joined this server when it was small. I thought it was one of the most unique servers I have seen since it had such an interesting terrain and just the fact that it was different from other servers. A few days later, I found out that the server had a website with a forums on it. I wanted to join at first but then as I was just starting to register it said at the registration page that the admins can see your IP. I really didn't want to risk my IP being given away to someone so I decided not to register. I would still check the forums once in a while for updates on what was going on. I would check the ban appeals, suggestions, off-topic, and random spam sections. I would also check reports once in a while to acknowledge what was right and wrong. Everytime I would see a suggestion being denied by @DWG715 I would think to myself "Why do they deny every single suggestion?" sorry for any offense I bring to any staff members or past staff members but a lot of those suggestions that I would see were (In my opinion) very good ideas and I would see them get denied all the time. I would also check ban appeals (As I said) and I didn't really enjoy how @WhatTheHai would permanently ban people for abusing the announcer back when they didn't have a permission set on it. I thought that it was very harsh that they where doing it and not only that, what if a player didn't know about it. That is just my opinion though. Well, after a while a kind of lost interest in the forums (Me not being registered was no fun) and I also kind of started to lose interest in the server as well. I played on Hypixel for a while on The Walls. On December 25th 2013 is when I started to get back into the server. I got a new mac for christmas along with the ability to register a new account (LaColeman which btw is also a year old today :D). I also decided that was the day to finally register for the forums. Well, I have enjoyed my one year on the forum, thank you all for an amazing year of 2014. I hope the best for the next year. ~LaColeman
Just saying, ALL websites keep track of your IP, so registering or not doesn't make a difference of when it comes to IP tracking. Not to be off topic, happy year. Here's to another c:
Even playing on a Minecraft server gives people your IP address. Anyways, Congrats on 1 year! Hope to see you for the next! ;)
lol, I designed a plugin to get people's ip Congratz on 1 year bud! I like the fact that you joined on christmas
