My thoughts of the new website

Weeell...
I don't like it. That's it. I hate that I lost all my threads, and just everything.
I honestly don't think it was necessary to make a WHOLE new website and make everyone lose everything. No shout box? Really? That was one of the best things about this website. So, I will get on every now and again but I won't be active until the server gets put to 1.7. and just to let you know J&H, I still love you guys but I better not of lost any of my money to your server just for it to go to another website.

 

I do agree that there should be a shoutbox again, but I'm not too upset with all old threads and stuff being removed.

 

It would have been nice if the old forums were cached, we could then see all of our old threads but, we couldn't edit them. I pretty much lost my Five Flags Caleb story.

 

I mostly adore the new features added, especially the alert system. The only things I don't like are the Shoutbox, like most of you said, and the custom user title and no signature thing, but the last two will probably get implemented soon.

People. They just started this fucking forum. They cannot add everything back in a few days. Also who cares about posts. Work again and who gives a damn about posts! They dont matter

I find the new forums a great idea, now there will be no exclusion against newer forumers, and gives people a chance to show who they are, makes the new guys feel "not so young", you may call it.

 

I am not changing my Minecraft over to 1.6. It's final. I change my mind about being on every now and again. I WON'T be on again, ever. And you can thank MrBlockMan. When he wants to be an ass, let him. Because I am NOT standing for it so. Goodbye.

You do know to switch from 1.7 to 1.6 is like... what? 4 or 5 clicks?

1. Open Launcher.
2. Click "New Profile",
3. Click "1.6.4"
4. Name the profile "1.6.4"
5. Click save.

Done.

You cannot expect them to do everything immediately... they are human, after all, so don't complain about it.

 

Charlynn, please note before you read this post that it is just my opinion and actual facts, not to offend you, listen up:

Not all mods/servers can be updated instantly. People are not robots, they aren't work machines. 1.7 brought many new codes and new things that mod makers need to either convert their mods in, or modify all codes. Mods such as Minecraft Forge are still coding to bring players their mod for 1.7, same thing with many plugins. Do not blame it on J/H that they haven't updated yet, I have barely seen servers update to 1.7 yet. So please just be patient and calm down, if MrBlockMan offends you, be a real man and do not care.
