Minecraft My minecraft world.

I have started a minecraft SURVIVAL world.
Currently, I have two goals; The first, to get to the nether.
The second, to finish my skybase which will contain a farm, the place for the portal, a 2nd house, and other stuff.
I'll probably finish both of them in the next couple of days.
After that, I'll need some ideas on what to build.
I don't know what to build, but I do have room, since around my mountain area I have cleared a space.
I have plenty of iron *2 1/2 stacks* and I have a snazzy mine.
Should I spread out some buildings, heading into the snow biome near me, or should I attempt pixel art? You can also suggest stuff for me to do.
I only started yesterday and I have done A LOT.
More then what I used to do in 3 months.
I do want to find a village and trade some emeralds, but I don't want to lose home.
I also want to find a horse or two, due to me finding 3 dungeons and 2 iron + 1 gold/butter + 1 diamond horse armour. Also, I have ~6 saddles.
In the end, I do want to battle the enderdragon, and also beat the wither.
Keep in mind the following things; I play 1.6.4, because that was the last minecraft update, everything else isn't minecraft, it isn't the true game.
I have a laggy netbook, with a really crappy touchpad.
I bulk play; Bulk play is where you can play for a long period of time, Bulk is a lot, play is what you do, Bulk play = Play a lot.
This is more of a building world, not a surviving world, therefore, I am on peaceful ^-^
So, put in the comments what I should attempt to build and if I can be assed, I'll attempt ^-^
