You can't really see past 60, I keep mine capped at 60. No need to waste hardware.

what's the point in pushing your card's limits just to get a high number that you can't even see?

 

Actually, scientific studies have shown that those who split hairs over higher frame rates (Basically all the PC Master Race nerds) actually can slowly start gaining the ability to tell the difference between say 75 and 80 fps.

In other words, 60 fps is the default for human vision, but you can train yourself to distinguish faster frame rates from one another over time.

 

my average fps is 20
