I'm sure everyone has seen Microsoft and mojangs latest attempt at trying to push this game back into mainstream relevancy It looks like shit but I think that's honestly in a way the point, either jumping on the trend of movie adaptations to milk as much money as possible and see if it's viable for millions of sequels or just have it be a one time cash grab that gains a lot of notoriety for just being bad (but that's just my opinion) My final thoughts? I think J&H should just become a roblox game, free server costs Also yes I'm writing this at 4 AM
you seen the tiktok of the guy mocking the movie with all those shitty liners ''Phew, we made it out!'' *Camera pans to creeper* ''Aw shucks!'' *Jack black gets hit in the nuts* ''Ow! my diamonds...'' it's probably just gonna be that and my 12 year old nephew will lick it off the floor baby, he will adore the movie and say it's a classic for many more years to come.
Honestly, Being the Minecraft Superfan that I am, this movie really isn't doing it for me. I have no idea why they thought making it a live action movie was a good idea because it would've worked great as an Animated film, sadly though Hollywood is utterly disrespecting the animation genre as of lately so that's what we ended up with. :/ Some compliments I can give it is that some of the animals look nice (Except that Nightmare inducing sheep), the sets being practical effects and hand made objects is honestly cool. But Jack black as Steve really doesn't work for me either, they just threw a blue shirt on him and said "Yeah he's steve now close enough." Despite that, I hope I'm proven wrong when it hits the theaters but I'm not very optimistic about what I am seeing, Minecraft deserves better with how gargantuan of an impact it had on the gaming sphere as a whole but it seems like it's not going to get that as of now.
