MC Skin Help

hello, would anyone possibly help me with my skin? I did a botch-ass job on the shading. If anyone could make the shading a bit nicer, that would be greatly appreciated. (if not that is okay, I will just attempt it again.)

 

I am pretty sure there are websites that shade for you with filters
or if you have an editing program, get a shade template and lower the opacity (here is a very basic shade template https://www.planetminecraft.com/skin/shading-template-instant-shading-tutorial/)

IMHO these look really odd. Just adding a dark gradient over it makes it look dirty and weird to me.

I'm sorry I don't quite have time to help out, but I'd keep this thread open. Someone might come along.

Edit: One thing you could also do it find a skin you like with good shading and try to copy what they do. I'm not saying stealing shading is a good thing, but as long as you don't upload it anywhere, or try to take credit for the shading it's not too bad.

 

yeah, they do, but it's the fastest way to do it, plus takes no to little effort.

i've tried looking for a good one, but there hard to come buy, especially the non-basic ones.

this skin is too genaric so i might restyle the eyes a bit then shade?
