I heard something, or someone, mumbling some words. My trusty bonking bat was missing, same with my favourite red bow my hero Cirno gave to me. 'As soon as I am done duplicating Map's bow & bat, I can dump her off the edge of the server hub. No one will realise she's gone. And I'll take over the server. Just, a few more minutes, till the server's doom' I stayed still, as I thought over that voice. It sounded familiar. Too familiar. *BONK* My trusty bat made a bonk sound, as it collided with my head. So that's how it feels to get bonked...ouch. There was a loud thud, like someone had been forced from the ground from a bag. 'So, I see you are one of Map's close friends, a person you talk to when you can. Spill some details. I know she's hiding something'. 'Um...Ah, I don't know anything, I swear'. 'Bs. Why were you huddling close to your phone, like what you were typing was secret?' 'I don't want anyone else to read the newest chapter of my Meatball story. It's really good, and I would love it to be secret for now'. 'Fine, you may go, but remember, if I find you are hiding something from me, your fate will be the same as Map's'. I could hear scurried feet, and squealing from the captive. It was easy to figure who, as Claire was the only I knew that made Meatball stories. It was hard to imagine Claire being scared of her captor. She would normally make the captor scared, rather then the other way around. Out of nowhere, my bow appeared. I scurried to put it in, as I didn't want to be forced to go outside without it. *Spray noise* The spray was all over me. I was getting sleepy. zzzzz..... I woke up. At least, that's what I thought. Two hands were cupped around my body, with my butt being squished immensely. I could hear the crowd of people, all chanting the crew's names. I'm probably being killed at spawn, with 1000 people to be witness, and yet, none of them will see the demise of I. All of them, interested in only gaining the attention of 5 people. 'End of the road, Mappy dear'. The very voice that I heard sounded so familiar, it seemed as I had heard it for the last 14 years. The hands that had once handled my body let go, as I felt myself tumble into the unforgiving void of emptiness. Death was staring me right in the eye, and yet, I was not scared. There was something no one else knew, and no one else could handle. All I had to do, is wait it out. The more I fell, the more I escaped from it all.
