Legacy games removed

    Legacy Minigames section has been removed. The legacy games will no longer be accessible.

    Sumo and Spleef have been removed as well, as they were barely played and similar versions are playable in the Herobrine's Chamber minigame.

    The sole reason they were kept for so long was for nostalgiac reasons, and even with that, barely anyone ever played those games. A few people on a good day. It costs money to keep these servers up and having them open for only a couple players each day wasn't really worth it.

    For those that miss sumo and spleef, don't forget you can still play these games through HC. I know, it's not exactly the same. But hey, it's something.

    Sad to see them go!! Esp Sumo and Survival Games :frown:. Though I understand why it was the most preferable thing to do.

    One thing I would also like to make a note of though, whether it's with this shutdown, or whether with the old Peaceful Survival shutdown, is that they both happened without any forewarning...whether here on the forums, or in-game. While shutdowns are ultimately at your discretion, it is definitely distressing to have to play fortune teller, as to when the games I like shut down, and not being able to prepare things like collages, videos, that sort of thing for posterity unless exercising precaution, if not being able to give the game one last spin. So more transparency beforehand would be very much appreciated.

    On that note too, shutdown parties could be a thing too! Releases don't have to be the only fun component of a game's status changing.

    I hope that this gives more insight though, as to my end of the experience as a player.
