Leaving...

Yes, I am leaving.
I have been influenced by many unnamed people (one whose initials spell out P E R C U S S E R S) to head out of gaming, and into the real world. Minecraft has been an awesome game, and I have learned much from it, yet it is interfering too much with my schoolwork. I plan to be an airplane designer and a robotics engineer. Although I am only 14, I need to start studying now. I am forced to quit all of my extracurricular activities in order to maintain Straight As, and unfortunately, Minecraft is an extracurricular activity.
I have a future, and I need to reach out for it.
I am not going to totally quit from any entertainment, though. I am a Junior Varsity debater for a school that is 10th in the nationwide league of debate. That will take up many hours of dedication. I swim for a club and qualify for the Junior Olympic standards. I can speak in 3 languages fluently, and I play many, many sports. Also, I am going to start up my own little game programming industry, and I will begin to make fun, interesting, games. I will occasionally post them on YouTube. I may pop up occasionally on a random server, but never for long.
There are two other small reasons why I am leaving. I feel as if my posts and comments are disregarded on a large scale. Not always, but a majority of the time. I am not bothered by the loss of notice, yet I believe that since my posts are not seen nor thought of, I would rather not put them there. And there is the small, yet important factor. I cannot run java on my laptop anymore. Instead of bothering to fix it, I would rather leave it there so gaming will not interrupt me.

·The old Boozers gang. (Too many to rename…) They were the best group of people I have ever met. May you all live a great life.
·DWG and Homieboy, the only moderators that I felt close and friendly with.
·There may be more, but do not be insulted if I have forgotten you. I have a rather busy life.

 

It's unfortunate that you're leaving however, I wish you the best of luck in your real life and hope you succeed and have great adventures.​

I'm going to miss you, if I'm correct, you were one of the first people I talked to on the forums (long time ago) and we did so somewhat frequently.

Comrade, the road of aviation or robotics may prove to be a tough challenge, but I know with your personality you have no option of failure. May the odds truly be ever in your favor.
