Keyboard delay.

Okay, so this has been a problem for around a months now, Whenever I click w my player walks forward in no time, but every like 2 minutes it delays and makes it so it runs forward 2 seconds later after I click w. This affects pvp and parkour a lot, please help. Thank you.

 

Try reseting minecraft

Is this happening on single player and other servers?

 

Everytime I play it does this, restarting minecraft doesn't affect it.

 

I mean reseting minecraft as in, fully deleting and reinstalling. And re-downloading the launcher.

Also try it without mods, that is if you have mods.

This could also be caused by things like a bad internet connection or a unreliable one.
Or a very high ping (How long it takes for a packet (Message) to get to the server)

 

Does this happen on other games as well? If it does, it's most likely a keyboard problem.

What keyboard do you have?

 

Crappy hp one.

 

That might be the cause, it could be really old or broken.

 

That would almost certainly not be the problem. This is a software/network problem.

Either your internet is causing the input from the keyboard to be delayed to the server, or something is corrupted in the driver.

The solution is either to solve your networking issues or to reinstall your keyboard driver software.
