So I really need help on how to be helpful without being obnoxious or a mini-mod. I had a warning point for Mini-Modding, which got removed when I apologized.
Anyway, how can I help the community without being a mini-mod? I really want to make an impact.
PS: No I'm not trying for staff. I'm just trying to be a great person.

Set yourself as an example player as others can look to if people need help be there don't just direct them to staff unless you have to. Don't break rules and be diverse in the communities meaning go from your usual spots on the server and go hang out somewhere Ned and familiarize yourself with those communities and instead of minimodding just report them

In the rules, I'm pretty sure I covers mini-modding.
It says if someone needs help getting to the forums or to the store, you can help people with that. Just don't give out orders. Like if someone is spamming, report it and don't say "Stop spamming".

So to help out the most, I'd probably just say reporting is the best thing you can do.

If you would've read the "detailed rules" thread it states that mini-modding is basically when you are commanding others to do a certain action related to the chat (such as: "stop spamming") when you are not a staff rank, regardless if a staff is online or not.

If there is a rule-breaker, then report them on the forums, or use the /report command in-game. This rule is (basically) put into place because if you just tell them in PM to stop spamming, it doesn't do anything but make the situation worse. While you can only verbal-warn (which you shouldn't be doing), we can actually take action agianst it in worse case scenario.

My advice, again, is to report rule-breakers on the forums, by doing this you are already helping rid the server of rule-breakers. This is a good way for us because you are not making the situation worse and also it makes our job much easier.

My next piece of advice is set yourself as example, do good to our community, report rule-breakers is one, but being generous to players is another. You can be respected and make an impact by doing many things good. Make sure players follow what you are doing good, but not to the extent that it changes their personality and that they don't make any hesitations, and in this way, you're not really mini-modding, but only making an impact to yourself and others in the community in a harmless way. It's okay to mess up.

    I wish you good luck.
