    1. One, don't be nervous during your interview. Just try to keep clam.
    2. Try to use correct grammar while talking.
    3. Look your best.
    If you get the job.
    1. Always be nice to customers. Even if they yell and scream, just don't yell back and take care of what they ask.
Good luck @Zeeborg! I hope you get the job.

    ohhh boy.
    Interviews:
Its pretty easy, Show up on time. Be polite, answer the questions directly, not long not short.
    Orentation:
If your american you will want your Pass port, ID, and Social Security card.
Once you get the job is the hard part. Here are some unwritten rules that you should follow
1.) Most improtantly: Your new, and at the bottom of the totem poll. This means that your opinion does not matter. The amount of people that come in thinking they can have there way amaze me, you work for the system, not the ststem works for you. We have a saying at our store: Show up, shut up, and do your job. It means work hard, and dont complain.
The faster you learn this, the better your experience will be. If you stay long enough your time will come to be the big shot, just like mine has.
But for now its best you are observent, and stay quiet.
2.) Different managers, different rules. Every manager runs his/her shift differently, act accordingly.
3.) Take it seriously. I cant stress this enough. If you take your job seriously, you will be taken seriously.
4.) Ask questions, speak up for your self. If they tell you to take orders and you never touched the POS then tell them. Its okay to not know something, if you haven't been trained. Whats not okay is trying to do something that youdon't know, that has to be themost annoying thing ever.

This sounds harsh, but its the bare truth. Un sugar coated.
You have clearly never worked at McDonalds.
Yes, you should ALWAYS be polite, not to the customers, but to anyone. You are correct, treat them with respect, period.
    The other part is false.
This is actualy a huge myth: The customer is not always right. Yes they hollar and scream every now and then, but thats not going to get them free stuff.
When in doubt ask a manager. Some customers will try to play the system, and take advantage of you. Most of the time this wont happen, but there always that one or two customers that try.

Overall I really enjoy working at McDonalds, and I hope you do as well. Its not for everyone, but if it is for you, you'll enjoy it.

    Good luck.
