Internet Challenges = Masochism/Ego

Let's look up the definition of Ego, shall we?

Thanks a lot Einstein! That's the exact definition we were looking for!

I don't have to explain that Internet is a pretty retarded place, do I? You sure can find some things that are actually relevant and smart but you can sometimes find some extreme things. Those stupid challenges are one of them. We've all got through them before, we all have this insane half mentally ill friend in our lives that will dare you to do something. We do it too! But those challenges aren't about slowly killing yourself. On the Internet, you'll meet all sorts of people. One of them being those people having an insane amount of Ego. They do those dumb challenges and some of them that aren't slick enough die or hurt themselves. Let's just briefly go through 5 of them, and be warned. Some of those are painful.

1-The Stapler Challenge!

If you are a next level idiot or a masochist, you can become popular by stapling yourself till you can't take it anymore! Very productive and certainly very intelligent! Whaddya say, Einstein?


2-Fire Challenge!

So, the idiot you are, you put on yourself something very inflammatory in a shower. Then set yourself the fuck on fire. You have to get under the shower as fast as you can to not die, don't play with fire kids
(Badum tss)

3-Shock Collar challenge!

It's easy, even idiots like you who do it will get it! All you need is money and masochism. You put on a shock collar and set it the fuck off. It's pretty damn painful but idiots don't care, do they?

4- Kylie Jenner challenge!

Smooth one, idiot! If you have enough Ego like this lady here, you will suck into a shot glass till your lips turn huge and with a little bit of luck, your lips will explode!

5-Eraser Challenge!

Get your package of Ego and go to the store and buy yourself an eraser! With this eraser, you can do a very useful and good thing to yourself and your body! Just rub the eraser very hard on your skin and you will get magnificent results!!


I don't even know what to say! Some people have an IQ low enough to get themselves to this. What's the fucking point? Proving you're extremely brave? Well, the people who have done them only proved me that they have a huge amount stupidity and that they enjoy feeling pain quite a lot. By the way, masochism means an Enjoyment of Pain. Please don't be masochist! I want you alive and well rather than with exploded lips and burned body.

How could anyone do this to themselves? Seriously, this needs to stop. These Internet trends and memes are extremely toxic and unnecessary for the most part. Examples being the Kylie Jenner challenge (as stated above) and the Don't Judge Me challenge is only a few examples of Internet stupidity and we have these rich 13 year old kids on vine who upload 10 second videos and make money with no effort at all.

Who would deliberately staple, set themselves on fire, make their lips look like a tumour, and literally erasing themselves? Only a masochist would do that, and even then, how? For Internet money? 10 seconds of you looking like an idiot?

This is idiotic and needs to stop. Never have I seen humanity get to such a stupid level and how reliant we are on technology!
