Another epic clash flame war.

Another flame war I'm going to squash right now.

First let me make it perfectly clear, I'm aware that there's more to this story than I know. What I do know is that NEITHER SIDE IS INNOCENT.

Yes. That's right. Your trolling and bullying Jultar is not justified, no matter what he did. If he did wrong, report him.

Jultar. None of the crap you've been doing is acceptable either. In fact I would go so far as to say you've been bullying in your own right.

To make matters worse, I find out a helper, Lila, got involved. This is not acceptable! Staff members are not immune to the rules. I will not see this again.

All of you are to end this flame war immediately. Any posts participating in this flame war will get 10 warning points immediately, which will not expire for 2 months. Same as drama threads.

Before you respond to this thread, stop and gauge your response carefully. If I feel your continuing this flame war, or participating in it, you will get 10 warning points.

I have had enough of this flame war, it needs to end for the greater good of the community. Cyber bullying will not be tolerated here. Knock it off. Both sides.

Yes, that's right, @JULTAR1000 but it goes both ways. You need to also let up on them to. Long as you do that, we're fine. This flame war has to stop.

 

Just want to tell you @RobyNub1337 I only got banned 1 week for my drama thread, wondering if the 1 month is broken.....

 

In my point of view, Jultar was raging at ElFactionDeFuego after they raided him, and most of the reports are EFDF's members. As you see, everyone involved with EFDF was targetted. Why?
And yet, he has called them 'idiots' mutiple times.
Isn't that part of breaking a rule? And no, I'm not trying to start everything up again, but Roby, when I asked Jultar why he didn't report the hackers in PvP, he said that he was talking to a brick and left the conversation. No, it wasn't fully solved. But you did solve most of it, so this will be my final post on this thread, and I will try to throw in more informaton as I can.
I'm done here.

Thankfully action was taken, Congratulations @RobyNub1337 .

May this be an example for everybody, as flame wars can reach a level where it's pure cyber bullying, which is not acceptable.
Also, may this make people realize that NO staff member is immune to the rules. If they break them they will be punished as if it was a normal player, they will be warned and it is expected that it DOES NOT happen again.
As for @LilaRok I'm sure she didn't do it to harm anyone. Also I'm sure this won't happen again and that she will improve in this aspect, like she always do.

And @JULTAR1000 , like RobyNub1337 said, you were aggravating this flame war. Although I know you were protecting yourself, but you did provoke some people as revenge. Which just made everything worse.

Next time just contact a staff member. If you did so in the past, this would have never happened.

Thats because when I first made that rule, J&H didn't have a system in place for handling the bans. So those who broke that rule before J&H had a new system in place for it, got off lucky. Consider it a warning shot. Next time it will be a 2 mo. ban because we do have a system for it now.

As I said, he got raided, and started things. Does that make you guys bullying him in return right? No. It doesn't.
And that's why just now I reminded him that the order applies to him as well. If he starts up, hes getting the bans.
My advice to you is to not respond if he starts in on you, and instead just report it. I already have a standing order out to all staff members to comply with the orders I issued in this thread. I went through and made sure to send a link to this thread to every staff member I could get my hands on that would be handling these.

Seemed fair enough. Probably why Lila was involved was either she really did help Jultar, or perhaps, he just used her name. There are only 2 explanations to Lila getting involved, and those are the reasons.
Either to say, Jultar kept hiding serects.

Nah, let it run its course, jultar. If we silence all opportunities to voice their side, it'll just get worse. They'll just go underground and hate you there. If they are willing to talk it out and reason, I'm willing to allow it. But @Rilakkumaloverr be very careful, please. Lets not dip into harassment or hate speech. That said, your doing fine so far.

See, this is what I want you to do. Reasoning is fine. Lashing out at each other isn't.

As I understand it, aside from it being started by him getting raided, both jultar and the other parties were bullying. Both. Yes I get it, both sides think they are defending themselves.

But see, here's the deal. Sometimes its just best to stop defending yourself and instead put a stop to the flame war. Does it really matter who was right and who was wrong? Really? In the great scheme of things, no rules were broken other than some hurtful speech. Which could have been either reported, or you could have simply been the better person and stopped. (This applies to both sides.)

From now on, stop and think. "Does it matter who was right, if we can just stop the problem now?" If the answer is no, then just stop the flame war. If you feel its necessary, report the offending post, but otherwise, just stop it. :)

Relax, at this point your presenting things in a calm manner. I don't see any lashing out or flaming happening yet. But be warned. your treading on thin ice. It would be so, so easy to slip.

So with that in mind, I suggest you and jultar both PM me your sides. Rila, to make things simpler, I'd like for you to act as the voice for the opposition...so if anyone has anything they want presented, send it to Rila.

That should allow you to present your case safely without the issue of flame wars starting, aye?

yes I got very anoyed after I got raided
but the reason I did this is because they abused several bugs/glitchs to do so

That doesn't make what you did right, but thank you for finally acknowledging that fact yourself.

I will have a talk with J&H later about policy with regard to that kind of raid. As I have announced several times before, I am working on a compiled guidelines thread which has more in depth explanations of these kinds of issues in the rules, and will be what staff go by when deciding when to warn/ban etc.
