Well, this is doxing which is illegal. If the guy who traced your social media releases your information to the public, you could sue him for that. What you also can do is set some of your options to private so that they can't just look up your name or usernames and see all your social media pop-up.

I'm not inclined to report someone to the police for merely threatening me, if he actually does anything to me, I'll consider it, but for now I feel like it's a situation that needs to be handled by me only. I'm trying to reason with him.

 

As Job said, doxxing is illegal. Is this an american only server? If so, report this person to the police and to the platform he releases info of you on. Keep unedited versions of these images in stock to support your case, and star the emails sent when a case comes up. Also, I'll be glad to help you if this guy goes on to copyright bullshit. I am quite knowledged in fair use. HMU on my skype(percussers2011) if you need help.

 

Thanks a lot. I'll keep this in mind, but I doubt he wants to ddos me. He said in his post that he just wants to destroy my reputation (LOL, what reputation) and such. I'll certainly update the thread if anything else comes up about it.

Why would he sue him? If he made it a court case, then the whole point of him not wanting his personal information mixed with his gaming stuff is ruined lmao

As some of the others said, I would say that you report him to the local police station if he keeps this up.
Even if the guy on the other end things this is some 'big joke', which it isn't clearly to you.
Even if this guy is being serious or not, it makes him a serious (and over sensitive) asshole.

I am usually not the person to come to for help on this sort of subject, but if this guy does contact you again, I would suggest having an adult file a police report for violating your privacy online.
