I still don't fully understand EULA

I feel kind of like a noob for posting this, but I don't fully understand what will happen when the EULA will take place and I have some questions, which anyone would answer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

• Will the EULA stop ALL donating or let you buy certain (but smaller) things?
• When it takes place, will all people who donate lose their perks?
• People say that the EULA will end this server (and other servers) is this true, and is there any way to make sure this doesn't happen?
• Why are Mojang doing this?

 

The Eula, also known as the end user liscence agreement, is something that all games have in order for the game to run (basically the terms and agreements)

1. It will let you but certain things, but most will be illegal to donate for.
2. Yes, everyone will, no exceptions
3. Only if they keep the certain perks that aren't allowed.

4. Mojang was receiving complaints from parents such as this for example.

"My son has donated 500 DOLLARS for a minecraft server under my name!"

Also it was on their Eula before just they were extremely lenient about it.

 

With the EULA they just want players, donor or not donors, to be treated equally and have access to the same stuff.
Also, they don't want server owners to sell items off the game, such as a diamond sword. Basically making profit of something they've made. This, of course, does not apply to user made items such as a sword from a mod or plugin, so you can still buy items from such.
