It is good to see that you are willing to improve and try to write stories of your own. Believe it or not, it will help. A lot. As for the idea/genre of the story, I'd say fiction since that is the easiest, and let your mind wander to its extents.

If you would want, you may use the character I am about to provide below.

Name: Shadow
Age: 17
Personality: Very dark and evil, but mature at the same time. Has no mercy when attacking, if attacked. Is known to be a Living Shadow Assassin. Can be dead silent. Shows sympathy to those he understands. Simple as that.
Looks: I'll just use this picture as a character from a game, except without the hood, and with glasses.

Anything else: Always has a colt revolver with him, and has a black blade with black and red striped handle sword sheathed onto his back.
