I need a computer -advice and suggestions

So, I need a computer. I got $200.oo CAD but could make that as much as $500.oo, This is my budget.
I was in Walmart yesterday, and seen a tower computer for around 475. I'll post the system specs sometime today. In the meantime, anyone got any options? Anyone willing to sell me a computer personally?

 

Well my advice to you is, don't go overboard. I have a computer that i bought when i was 9. I used my life savings on it (being 9 lmao), which was about 700 dollars (counting for wirus protection etc). I still use it, i've only reset it once because of wiruses. It's not the best, and it's a laptop, but it does the jobs i need it to and it does them well. So don't get the best computer ever because people say you'll need it, get what you need and no more. That's my advice, take it or leave it.
