Okay so this is not going to be a long wall of words, but I just wanted to share what happened. A few weeks ago, my friend and I were playing around, and he punched me in the jaw with an uppercut, as a joke, which locked my jaw and wouldn't let me talk for a couple of days. I had to basically eat liquid foods (Blended watermelon, gross), I also had to write all my things I wanted to say on paper, because I didn't want to take hours learning sign language. I've finally recovered and I can talk perfectly fine now. I've been eating jolly ranchers, which makes my saliva go upward, which finally unlocked my jaw and I can finally talk without struggling, as well as eating solid foods. For now, I'm only allowed soft products, such as bread, fruits (apples not included) and steamed carrots, to allow my jaw to recover and readjust, also to make sure I don't lock it again by taking a wrong bite. Just thought I'd share that ;) Any offensive posts in this thread? Let me know! -Melonman67
Great to hear you're better now :). And this sums up why at school I get people in headlocks and pin them against a wall before they start a fight. Last thing I'd want is a locked jaw D:
So violent o_o. Anyway, why did your friend punch your jaw as a joke o_O. What kind of a joke is that.
oh my god im so sorry for the pain you have been through man i wish the best of luck seriously tho...im really hoping youre gonna be alright :>
