Minecraft [HOW TO FIX] 1.7.8 Skinbug

Ok guys. Some may noticed after upgrading to 1.7.7 that they lost their smexy skins. So here's the fix.

Mojang prepared minecraft for the new namechangeing thing but not their servers. What means if you run 1.7.7 minecraft is looking for a skinserver to show what don't exist (yet). So the only way to fix this is revert to 1.7.5 - 1.7.2.

Example of the incident:​

Fix:​

Open your launcher and click on "New Profile"


In ProfileName you can give it a name. Something obvious like 1.7.5



In UseVersion select 1.7.5, then click on save



You can now choose what version you want to play





Those who noticed: Yeah I'm useing java 8 already. You can get the jdk here:

Uninstall all old java stuff first

Way more smoother fps and faster game :p
