How people get so fast in here?

Ive wondered how people get so popluar here??? Like how do people have so craazy following?

There really is no explanation on how someone on here "gains popularity". Or as I like to call it, becoming 'well-known'.
Some peeps become well-known via getting a staff rank, and others become well-known because of a friend they got. There really is no one answer.
Like, I don't want to think of myself as well-known, but some peeps tell me that I am. I think the reason is of me being so active on here, being helpful, and mostly being a huge part of the Creative1 community when I joined, and returned to this forum.

An easy way from what I've seen is to post some pictures of yourself in a certain thread, become a friend with a staff member, or ultimately get that staff rank. But, popularity isn't everything. Being well-known, isn't everything. Just because you're popular, or well-known doesn't mean that you deserve that recognition. That doesn't define you, character defines you. Don't change who you are to become 'well-known', because we're all unique just the way we are.

 

Heres the top 3 ways:
1) If you are a staff member or a very well know member, you will almost always get tons of likes on your posts
2) People make generic threads that are usually popular
3) People show off their talents

 

Cool.

 

When you have none of those ;)

 

The same way Youtubers get subs

Just get active man, the more you post, the more people know you, and the most popular you get.

 

For me personally, I only got 'popular' because I have shown that I did not care to be of that status.
I only use my 'popularity' for making detailed threads on what I enjoy talking about, and I have been doing that since my beginning here.
If you wish to become popular, there is no need to be that status in the first place.
Whether popular, or not, you are still you. Being popular brings along an illusion of false power, most of the time, you do not need to be popular do want you want here, and in most cases, real life also.
The only 'perk' to being popular is that more people will hear your voice right off the bat, because supposedly their opinion matters more then yours. Which is not true. I could have been rambling, so take that with a grain of salt, but that is my opinion on that.

Now back to the orginal question:

People usually make friends here over time, therefore making a friend circle of popularity.
People will follow you depending on whether they like you or not, so having friends helps people raise their follower count. And this:

When you are popular enough, more people will see your posts, see your profile more often, and you become a familiar sight.

However, most of this is done though crapton of time, because you will not become popular instantly.
(That is how I see it)

I would consider myself to start being famous when I hit 100 followers and that was like a year after I started being active.

 

Just be yourself. ^And what is mostly said above. Become more active, post more etc.

I think that if you want to be popular, you just be active and help out. And be everywhere lel
