Hi, So while I was playing on my iPad the touchscreen stopped responding all of a sudden I can open it but the touchscreen is not working at all, literally I have already contacted apple, but they take too long to respond
Try holding down the home button and off button until you see the apple logo, then let go. That does a manual reset and if that doesn't work then the problem has something to do with the hardware.
If that doesn't work then it most likely is a hardware problem as I already said. There really isn't anything else you could do except contact Apple, which you have already done so I don't think anyone here could help you- considering it is a hardware problem.
I guess maybe because of the light, you see the iPad 1 even in the lowest Brightness settings is so bright, so I used a Cydia app to make it dimmer, since then the touchscreen not wortking
Oh I don't believe that Apple will be able to help you if you used a jailbreak app. They state in their terms and conditions that the warranty is invalid if you use 3rd party apps.
