[HELP] Uninstalling adware virus

Hello, everyone.

So I got an adware virus on my computer and it's really annoying and I can't uninstall it.

Here's what's happening.

I select the program that I want to uninstall.

And it says "Please close your browser and try again".

It keeps doing this even if all of my browsers are closed.

Can someone please help me

 

Restart your computer and try to uninstall it after you turn the computer back on. That way nothing extra should be open.

 

Already did that. It does not seem to work.

 

Try restarting your computer in "Safe Mode" and removing it?

 

What's "safe mode"?

 

Press F8 before the Windows logo comes on....

 

Okay, i may be able to help you. First of all do you have an Antivirus program like McAfee or Avast? Or at least windows defender? If you do i suggest you run a virus scan, it may be able to catch the adware and remove it from your computer.

If you dont have an antivirus program, i suggest getting one so it can protect your pc from future threats

 

Get these programs it removed all of my viruses
Malwarebytes
Adwcleaner

 

Windows 8, can't do that.

I have windows defender, and I did a scan. Although it does not seem to find any adware even though it has one.

Let me check Adw cleaner.

 

Did you try turning it on and off?
