Hello! Please understand.

Hey.. I know a lot of people are having doubts about me being apart of the staff team. Reasons being:

• I ain't very active
• No one knows me

But I want to clarify some stuff..

Reason for my in-activity:

-This summer I've been studying hard to get into a course about electronics n stuffles. I've been studying most of the summer just to get into this course which has a limited amount of spots. But now that I've got that over with, I'll be quite active now EU timezone.

-I'm not that in-active, I'm just normally on spleef, because that's where I hang out with my buds, but now I'll be all around the server, so, happy days.

Reason for that no one knows me:

-I'm a spleef player, I'm normally on spleef or on agarpvp, I don't usually hang out in the hub. That's probably why most of you do not know me.

I really hope you understand my situation. If you have anything to say about me ( nothing offensive ), but things that you think I should change, please tell me.

I personally don't see what the problem is. Higher ups have their reasons for every candidate they consider and choose.

I'm sure you'll do just fine. Of course there are people who don't know you that well, but it's not that I was known either when I was promoted.
Let's give Joel a chance people. :)

 

This thread was most likely made because of my comment on his profile. I really should have thought twice before doubting you because we all have are reasons for inactivity. For example I was inactive for a year for IRL reasons.

It's okay, just because some people don't know a staff member right away, doesn't mean that you can't get to know them and become friends with them. I see no reason to complain.

Everyone should be happy that someone that isn't well known got accepted as a helper because it shows that the staff look at all applications as equal. Just because someone knows more people and is more popular, doesn't mean that they are a better pick than someone who has great potential but isn't as well known. (Like Jowl ;3)

Anyways, Gratz Jowl, I know you will make a great addition to the staff team! :)

Just remember to be a good example for other applicants and you will be good. :)

I just want to say that I've known Joel for over a year now
and I'd like to think that I know him well. He's someone who is extremely kind and easy to talk to. He's also very ambitious (as you can tell from above) and always willing to help anyone.
I have never seen him be anything other than friendly/outgoing/welcoming ...Which is saying a lot, because Spleef has a reputation for being Drama Central..

Let me say my opinion, so be he being inactive? doesn't say anything, with him being inactive a lot of staff members are inactive it won't matter if he's inactive for example one our Mod is inactive and Heat used to very inactive, but now he's active, same with him.

Not being known: well you're playing spleef, not many player is playing spleef, so I can see now, but it won't matter if your known like Mappy or someone else, it won't matter one bit.

That's my opinion on this thread.

I have no problem with you being Staff, whoever has a problem are just mad since they didn't get the staff spot! I believe that you'll be an amazing Staff member, and I can't wait to see how far you get with this! In-activity means nothing to me, it's what you get done and how you help when you are active.
