Gala 7 Update!

Rogue has gone through a lot of restoration. Thanks to help from friends, Rogue has been repaired and probably looks better than it has in a year.

The Gala 4 building has also been restored!

And the Gala 5 building will play a role too!


I decided to make this update thread to refresh the idea of Gala 7, and I'm finally ready to announce the date!

I said I would release the date in June, it's still June, don't hurt me.

Unless a sudden change of events occurs, the Gala will take place on July 16th, and will begin at 7 PM UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).

I hope this date and time works for everyone. :)

Also, I've decided that I'm not going to make a custom resource pack for this event. Sorry, but honestly very few people want to download a resource pack with a limited amount of songs/that's freaking huge because I can't compress my files. Instead, we'll be using Plug.dj for music, so anybody can play any song they want!

There's also going to be a small quiz game, where you can win a few prizes (but everybody who participates WILL get a door prize!)

Star Radio is happening on TeamSpeak, too!

For those who don't know what Star Radio is, it's a karaoke event where you come out and sing. We'll try not to laugh. ;)
(Seriously though, if you come to watch respect the singers, and don't record if they don't want you to.)

If you wish to participate in the quiz game or Star Radio, please say so in a reply! Depending on how popular the quiz is, we may do teams.

I can most likely make it; the only reason I may not be able to is because of what time is may occur.
I'd like to participate in the quiz game, and I am able to join the TeamSpeak channel, but I won't sing.

The Gala Plug.dj has been created.
I disabled the waiting list to DJ for now, but I'll enable it on the actual day.
I'd like to ask some staff members to come on so I can give them a rank though to help me out if people decide to raid the chat or whatever.

I still had fun, and I was just in the TeamSpeak channel. The real reason behind the idea of the Gala is to bring people together in the first place, so I would consider it a job well done. A lot of time and effort was put into the rebuilding of Rouge.
