Aww I am so sorry. I have lost many animals. It;s like having part of your family die. They are with you and they become like a brother or sister. You treat them like part of your family. You love them and knowing that they love you too is an amazing feeling. I understand what you are feeling like right now. It get;s better. You realize that thy are in a better place. You will soon understand they they are in no pain and that they are most likely watching you right now, rubbing against you. They are on the other side of the rainbow. The side of the rainbow that isn't dark. No pain, no bad. It;s the perfect place. The other side of the rainbow that is filled with rich green grass and lots of sunshine. It never rains, and never storms. It;s just happiness. The other side where they get too meet their friends again and be happy with no pain. It;s just like earth except everything is perfect. I understand you are extremely sad. I just want you too know that, when you are sad about someone/something dying you are only thinking about yourself. You are thinking about how they will never be around anymore. But you aren't thinking about them. They are a whole lot happier where they are now. And they are still there. Whether you know it or not. They are their right next too you. Thinking about you.

Thank you so much for this Katherine. This made me cry. I honestly don't know what to say.
My cat is definitely in a better place now cause on the last day of her life she could barely walk and she wouldn't eat or drink cause she was so unbalanced cause of her infection on her face/ ear area.
