Farming Bug

I recently finished my huge automatic farm and while I'm planting, i went to start putting down the seeds and when I have around 5 placed I go to place more and when I do that, all the seeds I placed just pop out of the soil and when I try to place the seeds again it happens again every time I try place them.

It could be because of the lighting or the nearby water. Your crops need to have water blocks close to them. They don't necessarily have to be source blocks, but just nearby water. Also lighting. Your crops need nearby light to grow. They will otherwise pop out of the ground.
