Extremely annoying lag spikes

Since the new host came, I keep getting more lag spikes, especially in the OITC server. Sometimes I even get kicked, in the middle of a game, showing that the host has disconnected the connection to the server (I got it in Dutch, so I had to translate it). It often disturbs the games that we play, and I know it's not my pc, more people have it too. I don't know what the reason would be, but can someone explain me what's happening?

 

Right now there is the server is experiencing time out problems. It will be fixed as soon as the issue is found.
