do people even use the forum chat?

look at the time... so many hours apart (well some of them)

 

Sometimes it's active, others it's not. Hard to predict when each will happen from what I've seen :P

 

What happens is that there is no interest in chatting alone so people ignore it unless they have something to say.
And then someone might see the message the last person sent and respond to it, but by the time they did this the member's already looking at another thread. On some RARE occasions I've seen some people chatting in the chatbox, but it was no more than two people (except when it was added because there was a ton of people at that time).

Sometimes it is home to many debates from countless POV's.
Trust me, I've had personal experience :P
