I haven't posted here about this before, but I wanted to mention this anyway. Since not everyone knows or only know some parts. At 1 AM in the night from last friday to saturday, I had to go to the hospital due to extreme pain in my stomach, sides and back. I've had 2 morphine shots and another shot with something else. I left to go home at 3 AM and went back at 8 AM and stayed till 1 PM. It turns out that I have gallstones and that my gallbladder will have to surgically be removed between now and 2 weeks. The reason for the gallstones are most likely due to my extreme weightloss the past year. I've had an operation on my stomach (gastric sleeve) in march. In the past year, I've lost a total of 41,7 kg. 8 kg since last september till the operation, 33,3 kg since the operation. I've almost reached 100% overweightloss, while you normally lose 50-60% with this operation. Tomorrow, I will have to call the hospital to plan the date of my surgery. More information about my weight loss can be found on my info page. If you want to know more, feel free to PM me.
We love and support you dest, and we always will, your like a sister to me and I'm always gonna support you! <3
Small update: I will have an intake tomorrow and then I will hear the date of the surgery. Update 2: Operation can take up till max. 12 weeks, due to corona.
Update 3: I had another pain attack last night so I went to the doctor. He sent me home, advising me to take an extra painkiller (which is morphine-like). The pain was gone after I woke up the next morning. I called the hospital today to ask if I can't get the operation sooner. The doctor said that the anesthetist has to give permission first, so they re-scheduled my telephone appointment with the anesthetist from monday, 19 october to this friday. Hopefully I can plan a date for my surgery after that phone call.
Update 4: Had another pain attack last night. Update 5: I will have my surgery on thursday, 22 october.
