    Not really...
    Sometimes it just depends.
    I have had lag in the past before due to the plot next to me.
    The plot next to me had some beacons and a huge building.
    I think that was what caused the lag.
    Right now however, I don't lag.

    It depends on your computer and the plots near you. If your computer has a good graphics card, it shouldn't be too laggy unless you're near a plot with a big building.
