Can names be banned?

My name is Fuuk but is pronounced Fook.
I was just wondering could I get banned for using
this username since it is originated from a different country and such.

Depends. One of my friends got banned for the name "Cumfused..."

 

As has been mentioned above, it's possible for you to be banned. May I ask, what is your entire username? I'm assuming the full name is Fuuk, so could you use something some as CallMeFuuk, or ItzFuuk so it would be clearer that it's a name?

 

I think the staff will tell you before they would ban you, so I do not believe you will be banned. If you are still worried about being banned, you could change your name if you have not already.

 

Sad thing is I have been muted on one server and banned from another server because of it and I have to wait like 29 days before I can change

 

There was a name hippo_sex (because it sounds bad obviously) that I banned a year ago, that turned out to be BlueJeansTogo's sister. She appealed and said it meant sex as in male or female rather than hippos actually doing it. So you should be fine. If you do end up getting banned, which I doubt it, the ban appeals here will save you.

 

We have already discussed that and we agreed on not banning it.
Don't ask me how and why I have no idea

 

If names are at the extent where they are offensive (such as the N word) can be banned for innapropriate names.

However, if your name is a foreign word that sounds offensive in English, you should notify a staff member about that (Atleast I think so)
