Bombings

*Note* My English isn't very good, sorry.

Bombings...


I'm just starting a short discussion here, because of the bombings in Brussels that occured this morning and the bombings in Ankera last week. I know lots of young people are here on the Forums so, do you know what's going on? Did your parents told you, or maybe your friends?

Well, my opinion about this is just.. Unbelievable. I can't think why people want to hurt innocent people or even kill them. Oh because you disagree with your goverment? Because you want to force your (in your eyes) religion on us? Why?
Why killing innocent people? Why making people affraid to go outside? Why making people consider to stop your killings? Everytime when I see the vids/pictures people post on Social Media with people running for their lifes gives me goosebumps..

Also, we are all so focussed on Brussels now, but don't we forget Ankera? I live in the Netherlands, and when the bombings occur in Ankera the news wasn't very 'big' about it, but with Brussels... 4 hour Newsspecial. What is the diffrence? They are both bombings, other one closer to our homes okay, but in both scenes people died because of terrorism. Why isn't that equally treated? Why don't we hear from Israel anymore? There are people killed everyday there by bombings; Why don't show that on the news?

Then the last thing I wanted to say;
Don't be afraid. Ofcourse I'm scared too. But we can't live our lifes in fear and hate, the world is already fucked up. We need to get the best out of every day and live life to the fullest!

What are you guys opinion about it? (If you are going to discus here, be polite to each other. Everyone has a different opinion on this.)

*PS, My thought goes out for all the people who where murdered by Terrorism attacks and I hope that one day this will stop.

As sad as it is to say, people identify Turkey and Israel as places where this happens often, so it's almost 'expected' there.
But when it happens outside of the Middle East, to Westerners, people react more because they think 'That could've been our country!'
The world is a scary fckin place.
This won't stop until the rampant islamophobia thats taking over the world ceases. Terrorists are doing this to scare us into reacting with hate towards Muslims. So they can in turn say "See?!? The whole world hates us"

 

I hate people who have to induce fear into others. People are attacking others just because we're different. Let that sink in for a bit, some people hate others for being unique, or different. This is very scary to me, considering there have been car bombings in the city I'm in, one of them was even only a few miles from my house.

 

I have a school trip on Thurday to Belgium, 100 miles from Brussels. I hope that the attacks have died down but why would someone do such horrible things?

 

People do these things because they hate anyone who is different.

 

I hope you're safe. You shouldn't go if you feel scared at all, and don't hesitate to stay at home.

 

I am so sorry to everyone who got cought in this madness.
