Block Lag

Hi, about a week ago I started playing on this server again (after a year or so of not playing) and noticed there was severe block lag. I know that my friend, _xDiamondGirlx_, suffers from this too, but am unsure as to whether other players do, or whether it is a problem on our end of the connection.

Throughout my week of playing on skyblock, I have had permanent block lag, aside from around 15 minutes this morning. It often takes several attempts to break blocks and obtain items from them as they regenerate when I break them. I have also been kicked several times because my "block breaking is out of sync".

If this is a problem with the server, could you please attempt to fix it, or if it is a problem with my connection could you maybe give me some tips on how to prevent this?

UPDATE:
In the past 10 minutes, I have been kicked around 5 times with the message "Block breaking out of sync."

Well, due a lot of players are on skyblock at the same time, it makes a lot of lag, for the server, so block lag, is one thing, and getting kicked is due to I doens't know what to do in that way.
