Apparently I got banned...

So yesterday I posted a thread that had a picture of my desktop. In the picture you could see me using a minimap which apparantly isn't allowed. Anyways two people commented om my thread saying that I shouldn't use it because it gives unfair advantages and I completely agreed with them. Now I have a 2 day ban because they said that I'm using a minimap that shows players locations. I clearly said that I'm not using this minimap for unfair antvantages but as I expected nobody believed me. I knew after posting that thread and showing everyone that I'm using that map would get me into trouble that's why I deleted the mod afterwards now I know that you won't believe me but if that minimap was not allowed why didn't you give me a warning in the first place? Why did I get banned instantly? We could talk about this and I would explain everything on why I use the map or where do I use it etc... Im being honest with you here and I'm telling you that I disable the minimap everytime I play a minigame that the minimap has impact on and you need to trust me here cause I'm telling the truth. Staff/Admins please re-think about your final decision and take in consideration that there are players like me that really do respect other players and play with their natural skills and not with skill boosters.

We can believe you or not. If i was you ill just delet it from my folders so no-one will get you banned again.

 

I did delete the mod after I saw the comments on my thread saying it's not allowed.

You know... its hard to accept a ban when you actually did nothing wrong and played by the rules. It doesn't matter how long the ban is but why I got banned, I got banned for something I didn't do and that really bothers me.

 

i was banned ones for sprinthacks when i didnt even had sprint hacks i got banned for 2 days and get my fair unban after 1 day because it was called an glitch/lagg idk

 

I checked the server/forums rules and there was no rule saying that I can't use a minimap I only found rule 16 that said "Hacking, exploiting or anything else that ruins the experience of other members is forbidden." but as I said I'm not using the minimap for unfair advantages so this rule isn't really affecting me. I actually take the time to disable the minimap before playing any kind of minigame that my minimap gives an unfair advantage. Sorry for double posting

Even if you played by the rules, and didn't use it for gameplay, you still admitted that you had it at one time and it's not allowed. Idk. Just my opinion.

 

Of course I admitted that I had the minimap and that it's not allowed but! I said that it's not allowed to use it for unfair advantages. The minimap doesnt have an impact on lobbies so it's ok to use it there. ( personal opoinion it's not actually a rule or anything )

 

What i mean is that they have no way of knowing if you're being honest or not, just your word saying you are. No offense.

 

I completely understand that and I know there's nothing I can proove but if the minimap wasn't allowed why didn't they give me a warning in the first place? That way I would immediately delete the mod and never use it again. Well I guess a 2 day ban is a warning but they could just talk to me and I would delete/disable it right away.

 

I'm not a mod or helper, so I have no idea.

I would be very pissed off. He had no idea it wasn't allowed, and when he did, he got rid of it. Why get a ban?

 

Exactly that. The 10 points by dao isnt pinned either. So how would someone know?

 

Actually, if you could remove player locations, the mod would be perfectly accepted. The only reason you were banned was because of the option to see players. Find out how to remove players and you can use it.
