Anybody else?

Everybody is talking about the username change. I honestly probably want it most. My user sucks and I am annoyed by everybody calling me Pretty or PrettyGirl. ;-;
Just wanna see other opinions.

Yeah I totally agree. Me being the noob that I am I made my username my name and all that fun stuff which gives away some of my personal information. So..... yeah I hope they do the username update :P

 

I'll probably change my name to something with no numbers. like Rocko.

Well, why not? I see this as a chance to feel better about something you've been wanting to do for such a long time. You may have been younger then, and you feel that you just.. grew out of your username. Why not give this chance out? You don't HAVE to change your name in this update, do you? What kind of bad effects will this update give? We don't even know yet, because the bad effects would be more... specific.

No matter what my username will always be Mcc457. I can't really think of anything else. If I ever get a premium account for Minecraft, my username would be Mcc457.

I've been wanting to change my username ever since I got my MC account...but I'm not sure what to change it to XD

 

Think about it...
All these youtubers will probably have crazy fanboys have their name taken already.
It will lead to confusion and impersonation.

Even worse, when they have their username changed, they are able to bypass bans from certain servers. We certainly do not want that.
(Btw, don't think they can take existing names though, so don't really have to worry about the fanboys)

You can keep your name if you want to.

Actually, now servers ban users by an ID unique per user, not by username.
