About 2013, I was like 11 or 12 and I liked writing. Here's a story I did not finish but started to write around that time. I CAN’T SLEEP! SAM MILLER Seth Anderson ran to the dragon’s lair on his trusty steed. He held his sword high above the air righteously as they rode swiftly to the vile beast. However, the dragon caught him by surprise, and breathed a terrible fire breath. Seth fell over, with a terrible ringing noise in his ear. * * * “RIIIIIIING!” The dream, in which he had heard a terrible ringing, was really his school bell, ringing in his ear, next to his desk in the back of the room. I’m late! Seth thought. He ran outside, to see his mom waiting, looking tired and caked in sweat in the hot, humid day of summer. He proceeded to open the door to see his little sister in the passenger seat of the Mercedes van. “Ha, ha, Seth, I got shotgun!” her snobby sister, Aubrey, shouted at him. “Aubrey, behave!” Mom called at her. “Thanks, Mom.” Seth replied. He got in the Mercedes backseat, where Aubrey was supposed to have sat. “Aubrey, you got gum on the seat!” Seth called, after seeing the pink, and what seemed to be cemented-to-the-seat gum. “Deal with it!” Mom slapped Aubrey gently on the head. “Owwww!” Aubrey replied, obviously overreacting. “Don’t yell at your brother!” Seth hated his life, and wished he could’ve stayed asleep forever. As soon as he got home, he layed down in bed and slept the rest of the day, continuing his dream about the dragon. Seth was awoken by a beeping noise, continued by a flash of light. He screamed fire! in his head, and screamed, “FIRE!” in real life. He was then re-awoken by his sister, kicking him and then saying, “Why won’t you ever shut up?” Seth wondered why she said why won’t he ever. He didn’t remember doing it before? He tried to fall back asleep, but was uncomfortable, he felt to much like the dream was real, so he went outside, even though it was about 3:00, and looked for fire hazards. He then spotted a leaking car in their neighbors yard, and knocked on the door. A tired, old woman in pajamas came down. “Ma’am, your car is leaking, and I’m afraid that could cause a fire.” She just replied, “Stop with the pranks, you bratty kid!” Pranks? Seth didn’t remember any pranks, but before he could answer, the door was slammed in his face, and he called a mechanic to fix the car the next morning. The paragraph indentation was not very good.
